How we recycle: from used plastic to new accessories

Harvesting

We set up collection points in our stores and use the units destined for destruction as raw material.

Classification

We separate by plastic type and color using NIR (near infrared) technology, which allows for precise and efficient segregation.

Transformation

We crush, wash, and process the plastic until it becomes high-quality pellets, ready to be molded into new products.

Manufacturing

We design and produce new cases and accessories using state-of-the-art injection molding techniques, ensuring quality and durability.

The journey of a recycled case

Our recycled products reduce the carbon footprint by 70% compared to conventional products. Each cover is made from the equivalent of 3 recycled covers and maintains the same strength and durability as traditional covers, but with the added value of contributing to a cleaner planet.

How does our recycling process work?

We collect used plastic bags from all over Spain, sort them by type of plastic and color, and use cutting-edge technology to shred them and transform them into raw material for new products. All this while reducing our carbon footprint.

What environmental benefits does our factory provide?

For every ton of recycled sleeves, we save 16,300 liters of water and prevent the emission of 2.5 tons of CO₂. In addition, each recycled sleeve means one less product in landfills, where it would take more than 500 years to degrade.

What do we do with these new products?

You can find them in our extensive network of stores, with more than 1,000 locations in 13 countries across Europe and Latin America.
